Dispute Resolution
Last updated: July 10, 2026 · Version 1.0
This English version is provided for convenience only. The German version is the legally binding version.
1. B2B platform — no consumer arbitration
Picdeo (www.picdeo.de) is directed exclusively at businesses within the meaning of Section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB). No contracts are concluded with consumers.
We are therefore neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Sections 36, 37 of the German VSBG).
The European Commission's former Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued as of July 20, 2025; a reference to it is no longer applicable.
2. Amicable resolution first
In the event of disagreements about the platform's services, please contact us directly — most matters can be resolved quickly and without formality:

3. Disputes between providers and travel agencies
License relationships regarding media exist directly between the provider and the travel agency (License Terms). In such disputes, Picdeo assists with the available documentation (license records, verification page) but is not a party and does not conduct arbitration. We accept reports of infringements under our Copyright & Takedown Policy.
4. Jurisdiction and governing law
Disputes with Picdeo are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG); to the extent legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt am Main, Germany (details in the respective terms).
